Project 1: Analyzing academic argumentation

Topic and scope This research is aimed at building pragma-dialectical instruments for the analysis and evaluation of academic argumentation. Special attention is paid to the identification of argumentative patterns for justifying scientific explanations (expert-to-expert communication) and the development of criteria for the evaluation of argumentation from expert opinion in various communicative domains (expert-to-layman communication).
